Saying Goodbye to Dr. Saldin

Today the physicians and staff at Piedmont said goodbye to Dr. Riz Saldin and celebrated the good work he has done for patients here at Piedmont. Dr. Saldin, who is Board Certified in both Interventional Pain Medicine and Neurology, is moving to Florida with his family. We did our best to offer him a very "Macon-y" lunch, complete with Fountain of Juice (one of his favorites!) and classic Nu-Way Weiners. We also gave him a can of peanuts (because after all, Georgia is the number one peanut producing state in the country), a jar of peach preserves (since, well, this is the peach state), and a bag of grits (because you can't get much more southern than that!). We gave him an Allman Brothers CD for the road and a handy notepad with the map of Georgia in case he ever needs to find his way back. Lastly, many people are aware that Dr. Saldin is a huge Duke basketball fan, so we couldn't resist giving him a Mercer basketball so he can always be reminded of the greatest upset of March Madness history that took place earlier this year. Best wishes for you and your family on your next adventure!
